TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EVENTS
All attendees must be over the age of 18.
All attendees should be of reasonable health and able bodied as our events incorporate lots of walking and standing (inside and outside where applicable), sometimes in locations with uneven flooring and almost always in the dark. If you are living with a health condition that may affect your ability to participate and you wish to join us on an event, please contact us to discuss. Some locations do have access for the disabled and/or we can make adjustments for you.
Due to the above circumstances, it is inadvisable for pregnant women to attend one of our events. Anyone that books knowing they are pregnant does so at their own risk and we will not be held accountable. Children must not be brought to the event with you.
If anyone is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol they will not be allowed entry in to the investigation, under any circumstances. They will forfeit their booking fee and be refused admission.
Please respect the property of fellow attendee’s.
Throughout the event you will act in a sensible manner and will not cause harm or injury to anyone else in the group and will respect the property, its contents and surroundings.
Interactions with spirit should be undertaken in a respectful manner.
All stories about the location are not fabricated and we cannot guarantee that paranormal activity will take place on the event.
For safety reasons, the group must stay together at all times. Should anyone need to separate from the group then they should go in pairs and notify one of the event leaders.
We will not be liable for any loss or damage to equipment/belongings to the participants before, during or after the event.
Although we cannot foresee any problems, accidents / incidents may happen, all members of your group should preferably have their own third party public liability insurance. You are visiting the location at your own risk. We and our members of staff accept no liability for any accident or injury to you, however caused.
Ghost hunting investigations are fun and you will be encouraged to participate as much as possible during the evening. However, disruptive behaviour is not tolerated out of fairness to other attendees. Throughout the ghost hunt event you and your party will act in a sensible manner and will not cause harm or injury to anyone else and or affect the property, etc.
Opinion as to the existence of spirits or the validity of psychics and mediums differ widely. Therefore, no perceived predictions, opinions, information, advice or comments made by our employees, psychics, mediums or clairvoyants should be interpreted as factual or actual. You, the Customer, are responsible for making your own decisions and it is understood that when our employees, psychics, mediums and clairvoyants suggest something to you, it is an opinion of the consultant, and should NOT be interpreted as the only course of action.
All personal belongings, bags, clothing, equipment, vehicles and effects belonging to you or your party are your own responsibility. We are NOT responsible for the safe custody of participants’ property for its loss, damage or theft.
Attendees are asked to dress appropriately for the event: e.g. warm clothes for winter investigations, flat, closed-toe shoes. Some rooms where vigils and séances will be held may not have seating, which would necessitate in attendees sitting on the floor. Therefore, it is advised that casual trousers (e.g. jeans) are worn.
A full Health and Safety briefing will be provided at the start of the investigation and you will be asked to sign to say that you have received this and understand your responsibilities for your own and others’ health and safety, as well as, the safety and security of the location.
In the attempt to capture evidence of spirit activity, camera equipment (video and still) and audio equipment is used during a Beyond Belief event. This may mean that images of you and your voice may be recorded. We reserve the right to use photographs, videos and audio recordings which may contain your image or voice for sharing evidence, marketing and displaying on our or other websites e.g. the location and other paranormal groups. By attending the event you are agreeing to such use.
